![]() ![]() I've got two Proffie sabers from Padawan Outpost (a UK company who also sell sabers from the same manufacturer, LGT) and I couldn't be happier with them! They're definitely on the budget end of things and they're not going to match a high-quality saber in terms of build or electronics quality, but if they have a saber you particularly like there's no reason to turn it down. Crimson Dawn will ship with a fair few presets already installed mind, so it will work out of the box before you need to get into all that.Ĭrimson Dawn or Darkwolf Sabers aren't bad choices. There's no question at all that Proffie's the better board, but I'd recommend taking a look at some tutorials on YouTube to see how you feel about learning it all. The latest firmware (you may need to update the board to use it) lets you make changes to your saber on the fly no app or anything needed. Once you have it set up with the styles you want, have a look into Edit Mode. It is definitely more difficult to learn, but well worth it. Proffie is arguably the best board on the market. Aside from the app their speaker quality is not great, they don't do removable batteries and they have fewer features than LGT's budget Xenopixel board. ![]() ![]() Their hilts are stunning, but functionality not great. It addressed some of the problems, but people are still having a lot of issues and all they'll say about a timeline for the next update (which they've been saying for over a year) is "soon". Electrum released an app update as a public beta over a year ago, with plans to release the full update last December/January. ![]()
